When did we move, on an issue as important as this, from “let us reason together” to “Let’s all shout at each other?” I’m still pulling for Obama – but Moyers is right – we need some toughminded leadership, now.
Sensible words about our increasingly shrill and senseless culture and politics. Our gray world, I think, is not happy about the black and white commentary that the excessive and instantaneous “news” outlets spew 24 hours a day. Thanks for keeping me on my toes, Angela.
