    Point well made. But today it looks as though the Supreme Court is going to punt on the issue, saying pro-Prop 8 group lacks standing to sue. That will leave the lower court’s decision in place – that same-sex marriage ban in Calif. is unconstitutional. Maybe the right political decision, instead of a ruling that would have affected all fifty states whether they were ready for it or not.
